This section will list any games accepting players, or if you want to rejoin (or quit) a game already in
progress. Games scheduled for a future time are also displayed. Before joining a game,
review the game options below.
Quitting a game
You can quit a game from the game menu screen at almost any time, however it will prevent it when you are in the
middle of your turn (when the 'Discard' and 'Play' buttons are shown in the Actions area). When you press the
'Quit' button, the other players will be told of your departure and gameplay continues, skipping your seat.
If there are no other human players, the game will end.
Creating a game
This section allows you to configure many aspects of a new game. If there is a game waiting with similar
settings, you will join that game. The options are discussed next.
Game options
The options available for a game are as follows:
Sample of configuration options for new games:
- Wait For allows you to indicate either the number of human players in the game, or a
period of time for the game to be available for others to join (the game will appear in their
Available Games section. Games can be scheduled for a time up to 24-hours
in advance.
The default is for solo play.
- Min Players allows you to specify the total number of players, from 3 (default) to 10.
If this is less than the value selected for Wait For, it will be set to that number.
When a game starts, if there are more players than humans, the game will automatically create some automated
"robot" players. This allows you to play the game by yourself, for fun and practice.
- Rounds indicates the number of rounds in the game, from 1 to 5 (the default).
- Difficulty indicates the number of cards, and the combination needed to meet the minimum
requirement for the first round. Each additional round will increase the difficulty by one card.
The default is a difficulty of 6 (Two sets of three).
- Expert Mode is not enabled by default, so players will have the option during the game to
get assistance with the 'Play Possibilities' in-game option. 'Play Possibilities' provides warnings, when
discarding, if there are possible plays that you may have not noticed.
Expert Mode does not allow players to use the 'Play Possibilities' option for the duration of the game.
The default is not enabled.
The Create button will match you to a similar game waiting for players, or create a fresh
game. When in the game, press the 'Game Menu' button to return to this screen. You can rejoin active
games from this page,
- Previous Configurations - buttons created for each recent game configuration, showing number of players (P),
number of rounds (R), and the initial difficulty (D). Pressing the button places the appopriate values above
the Create button.
The
Default 3P 5R D6 button will restore the settings to the original values: solo play, 3 players,
